Contrary to Mr. Andersons views,I found the nasty wee guy to be most accomadating. Not only did he source a high-chair for my daughter,he entertained her for the full duration of our excellent meal.I would recommend this traditional Scottish "boozer" to anyone staying near by.Good luck Jo and the staff and keep up the good work.Ps......what happened to the Spanish guy,he was really nasty.
Had a good night out with a mate, and ended up in the Griffen. Great bar, good music, but spoiled by Joe the barman verbally abusing me and telling me I was not welcome in his bar.
Finished my beer and was slagged off as I left the bar by Joe again.......
Shame he has no decency, spoiled a good night out with a friend.Joe is friendly to people's face, but there is a nasty side to the wee guy.

The Griffin has just been refurbished and returned to the glory of a traditional Glasgow pub with original tile work, woodwork and glass. Offering three rooms for drinking and dining with great food, friendly staff and the prospect of great music thanks to manager Bobbsey Mullen. Well worth a visit
proper old fashioned bar, good selection of ales. A bar which has managed to stay clear of any poncey overtones!!...tip top
