This restaurant is fab. We live in Falkirk and my family and friends travel through regularly to taste this wonderful Korean cuisine. We have travelled to Korea on a few occasions and we love the food there. Kokyro food takes us right back to Seoul and the hot spice of Kimchi and the sweet taste of Bulgogi. You must pay this restaurant a visit.

I think s. macdonald's comments are a bit harsh. I did live in Korea also, so fully understand that it is impossible to expect them to have the competitive price to what it will be in Korea when lots of their ingredients are imported. You can ask the dishes to be prepared to Korean's taste (very hot) and they will arrange that for you. It is just that most people in Glasgow would feel it is too hot and inedible so they make the dishes a bit milder for local customers.

I have been to this place at least five times now since we first discovered this is March (08) this year. The food is great and i have not been disappointed yet. The Sushi is the best sushi i've ever had. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone who loves to dine.
dissapointed customer
Although this was one of my favourite restaurants, I have to share a negative experience. I recently ordered a vegetarian meal for take away and was presented with one with beef, having returned too the restaurant, i was absolutely shocked and appalled that my meal was not re-done but simply the beef removed and covered in lettuce. I still actually cant get over it, as i absolutely loved this place, but doing that too a vegetarian dish is just unacceptable.Very dissappointed......Sorry!!!!!

I lived in Korea for many years and I realize that this is not Korea but... I was surprised at how expensive the dishes were at this restaurant and the tiny portions that were given. My Sundubu (soft tofu) stew had very little if any tofu to speak of in it and the appetizer (which cost 5.00) was tiny and lacking in authentic ingredients, compared to what I'd get in Seoul. My friend's Dol Sot (hot pot) rice & veg was not very hot - usually you are warned not to touch the bowl. When I enquired about the contents of the dishes the only worker present, a waitress could not explain anything as she was Chinese. This is a nice option to chippies and curry houses in Glasgow but I will not appologize for being disappointed since I was told this establishment was authentic and reasonably priced.

This film is part of the Mitchell and Kenyon collection - an amazing visual record of everyday life in Britain at the beginning of the twentieth century.
