Assam's

This place has been the talk of the town recently so my expectations were quite high.

we went in last saturday and I could not belive how busy the place was although we had not booked we were asked to wait. When we were seated at our table, the first thing i noticed was how homely the whole place was an hustle bustle of an atmosphere but mostly I couldnyt belive how comfortable the seats were, if this restaurant was looking to get people out quickly I dont think they will be able to with these seats.

the menu wasnt as big as other indian restaurants it was quite small, we choose king prawn skewers with a really nice spicy sauce, chicken puri  to start and lamb cauliflower which was extremmly tender and tandoor salmon for our mains. i got to say each dish had its own distictive taste it wasnt the sickly orangly coluring you normally get. we had an absalutley fantastic night the food was fantastic the service was great i have to say we will be back very soon. if you havent been you have to go
