As Londoners pride themselves on the Ivy, Glaswegians have the Rogano to boast about. Decadent and sleek, this venue represents the ‘art deco’ era to its fullest. Not only does the Rogano offer you thirst quenching drinks, but the food is of great appeal too. Don’t worry if you fail to complement the interior with suave attire, this place will treat you like an A lister – without the ‘do you know who I am?’ spiel…

"Similar problem with myself, one guy was very agressive and scruffy."

Andew Wilson said on 27th October ... "Very disappointing meal. The waiting staff were very nice and polite but when I asked to speak to a manager called Thomas about this, he was very dismissive and rude to me. We've been going for years on special occasions and will not be back. I will be writing a letter to complain very soon."

J.Blackthorn said on 25th April ... "Went to Rogano with friends on friday 20th for dinner. We ate in the cafe, so cool and relaxed and the staff were great. Loved it so much that we went up to the bar after dinner, where the staff who were rushed off their feet still gave excellent service.
What made it a good night was the welcome and assistance we recieved from the staff at the front door. Not only charming but they found us space when hadn't made a booking."

Margaret said on 20th April ... "We are from New York and are over for the Art show at George Square. We were recommended Rogano by a local and we are soooo thankful. We headed straight downstairs into Cafe Rogano.
We sat and enjoyed Champagne Bellini's then lunch came. We had a great meal, service was excellent, very attentive and the food was perfect. The fish of the day, was a fantastic catch. We were very well looked after and certainly we will be back to see the great, fantastic Rogano again. "

Claire. w said on 19th October ... "Brilliant. Just had drinks and some "light dinner" in the bar. Great place, loved it so much I am writing it down. Try and catch the barman in Green Jackets, true professionals, availiable for photo opportunities too. A must for everyone, over 18 of course and bring your wallet, you will not want to leave."

??? said on 23rd May ... "The comment about the frozen halibut, sorry lady but your knowledge of food must is lacking for I know of the supply the fish to Rogano and they get 2 deliveries a day. Its all fresh and the best quality. Why are you to trying to bring a classic restaurant down so badly?"

Caroline Pierce said on 13th March ... "'I've really enjoyed my meals at Rogano. It feels so glamorous. The upstairs is more expensive and has more atmosphere, but downstairs is pleasant too. Fish is especially good. It's somewhere where you have to go at least once.'"

Patricia Rae said on 13th March ... ""Visited Rogano for dinner on Sunday 3rd Sept - in an empty restaurant, sat us next to a loud noisy pasrty. Service ok, but three of us ordered halibut and found it awful, wooly and tasteless. It seemed to be Icelandic frozen fish. Despite complaint, no refund was made. Widely overpriced, even if it had been good!""
