my epilepsy is really bad hence why I am not such a frequent visitor any more, the door staff seem to be getting a really hard time, they are good at their jobs when guys are fighting and escourt the tit heads properly, when a bitch fight kicks out the bouncers do tend to stand back a bit. a guy tripped me up 4 not pulling him, he was embarrised because i rejected him in front of his mates or something. the bouncer saw all but left me on the floor to pick up my self. another time i was out for my mates b-day a group of girls kept bumping in to us really hard ... i dont care if its just brushing past or a one off but this was clearly deliberate! because i asked her to watch what she was doing! she poured what was left of her vodca an coke down my new £150 dress (raging) the bouncers took their time to aproach but her friend slammed her soletoe heel in to the birthdy birls foot so me being me picked the short arse up and dragged her to the stewerd myself.

It does seem as though the door men let in much more girls than guys authough they can be choosey as to wihch girls they do want to let in it seems like if ur not a size 6 or are with a size 6 or stand out a bit from the croud like i do at 6 ft 2 1/2 with heels on you hav no chance if ur with a small plus size. authough their arnt as many the femail door staff come across as less biggated. the que for drinks can be quite long but ie never had a problem with the bar staff infact one wee guy (comes from castle milk) is really lovely. the toilets in my opinion are ok - you get a laugh in there sometimes, chats with other girls putting on their make up etc. one time this girl (pissed as a fart!) fell face first out the cubicle, I know I shouldn't laugh but even she had a giggle at it. I think it made it worse that i had to step over her while my mate helped her up because I thought I was going to piss myself laughing! Aw ... the good times!

The music is awesome there is a dj called andy - black hair, tatoos, amazing (big up andy mate you're an amazing dj ) i would advise you to go ... but I haven't been in a while the last time I went it had seemed to have went down hill quite a bit but go and give it a try ! xxx "

It was place to be without a doubt. Had a few revamps decent promos. Bouncers were all good q jumps and vip passes free entry. Good old days became big influenced by hip hop rap and rnb in room 1 dance in room 2 some crazy nights then too saw eminem in vip room also fatman scoop live too there who is now got stall in Pollok market..

Nowadays downhill hard to get in now neds /ballbag brigade. dont go near place. Tear to my glass eye..rip tunnel dance .and brilliant nights. Thanks for reading ....take care all."

I have news for you people . . . The Tunnell was uber trendy up until it started playing RnB and whats with those ridiculous dance off's ? This is'nt London people. Get a Grip.

The Tunnell now follows the London trends in music which works well down there given the money they throw at the industry but up here . . . sorry not working. Trust me, you dont need to know who I am . . . but be re-assured the Tunnel wont stay like this for long.

The Tunnell was regarded throughout the UK as being one of the best venues to gig at . . . .Its only ever mentioned on a grand scale at Xmas ? All you RnB guys ever wonder why your night is'nt the main event over the festive period ? Tut, Tut and you think your in the know. I have been involved in UK nightclubs since 1992 and held the Tunnel in the most highest regard . . . Went with a few colleagues who have all graced the club in the past with some HUGE players in club scene, could'nt stop laughing at the state of the place.

If the tunnel management dont come up with something new or at least give Glasgow its best club back then its R.I.P time. Given that one RnB songs costs thousands to make, there is always a long wait for new and decent tunes being made. Nightclubs that play RnB run out of ideas very fast. Why do you think dance music has survived the test of time for more than 20 years ? Because its no where near as expensive to make as a RnB track that has to include video's that are marketable in the States if accepted.

Its time for the daddies girls and blusher boy's to get a grip.
Never in my time involved with nightclubs have I ever witnessed something so poor at a one time UK wide respectable club. Oh and who's the DJ that plays the main room ? I have been in the Tunnel on 4 or 5 occasions this year, you could say each quarter of the year (through Room 2 friends who will remain annoymous) each time I've been its the same tunes.

The DJ is mince, if the Tunnel remains stubborn or looks to what works in London . . then why not at least get in a talented DJ that plays that style of music ? Why ? Why, should they when they have morons turning up each weekend thinking they are part of the trend setter ! ! ! And dont get me started on the "Dance off's" My hats off to the girls and guys involved but have'nt you heard of auditions for videos ? If you dont need to look hard enough to find them. London is a big place. Chances of you getting noticed in Glasgow - by someone thats got money for a video are grim. But dont take my word for it.

Hey girls be honest ! Have you actually got anywhere with that route ? Or is it just a case or Meaow, look at me centre stage in the Tunnel ? Oh you poor wee souls....you've not had much experience in the way of clubs have you ! ! !

The music isn't too bad and the only complaints I would have are that on a Saturday it gets really busy and too hot, and also it does take a while to get served at the bar. "

We return the week after without our friend and the bouncers say sorry not tonight regulars only. We explain we have been in last 3 weeks he still refuses. The next night, I am driving my friends in and they ask wanna come in I accept go to door and get knocked back for being 2 drunk? I’m driving I explain they still say 2 drunk lol.
